How we work

How we work

Five stages on every renewal, handled by the same broker from review to claim.

01 / Review

Start with the exposures, not last year's schedule.

We read the current policies against how the business actually operates today: sites, contracts, payroll, revenue by territory and the claims that have been paid.

  • Wording review against your contracts
  • Gaps, overlaps and unnecessary cover listed
  • Limits tested against realistic loss scenarios
Review

02 / Prepare

The underwriting file is the submission.

Underwriters price what they can see. We build one file per line with the facts that move price and terms, presented before the market asks for them.

  • Schedules of values and payroll checked
  • Five-year loss history with commentary
  • Risk improvements documented
Prepare

03 / Market

Selected markets, not a circulated list.

Each risk goes to the insurers with genuine appetite for it. Fewer, better approaches return firmer terms.

  • Insurers authorised by the Insurance Authority
  • Markets chosen for the line and the risk
  • Terms compared line by line, not on premium alone
Market

04 / Bind

The policy is checked against the quote.

Before cover incepts we confirm the wording, subjectivities and endorsements match what was agreed. Discrepancies are fixed before they matter.

  • Subjectivities tracked to closure
  • Policy wording checked clause by clause
  • Certificates and evidence of cover issued
Bind

05 / Claims

A named claims contact from the first notice.

We notify, prepare the claim and negotiate with the adjuster and the insurer. The broker who placed the risk stays involved until settlement.

  • Notification within the policy's time limits
  • Claim presented with supporting evidence
  • Settlement negotiated, not simply relayed

What you can expect from us

  1. 01We act for you

As a licensed broker our duty is to the policyholder. Advice is given on suitability, not on which insurer pays more.

  2. 02Remuneration disclosed

Brokerage and fees are stated in writing before cover is placed, by line and by insurer.

  3. 03One named team

A broker, an account handler and a claims contact are named for every client. The names do not change at renewal.

  4. 04Written advice

Every renewal closes with a written summary of what was placed, what was declined and why.
